GSPK Multifuel Technology reduce fuel costs for FreshLinc The specialist fresh food distribution company, FreshLinc has converted a trial number of its 140 strong tractor unit fleet, fitted by specialists Eco-Blend Technology Ltd, bringing to 600 the total of GSPK Multifuel Dual Fuel systems now installed.

The specialist fresh food distribution company, FreshLinc has converted a trial number of its 140 strong tractor unit fleet, fitted by specialists Eco-Blend Technology Ltd, bringing to 600 the total of GSPK Multifuel Dual Fuel systems now installed.

GSPK Multifuel Technology, the manufacturer of the GSPK Dual Fuel System, has invested over £1million in the development and testing of the product over the past six years. The system which can offer savings of up to 15% on fuel costs, incorporates advanced electronics, designed to deliver Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) into a diesel engine in a safe and controlled manner.

“As suppliers to the major high street multiples, value for money is expected by all of our customers,” commented Andy Marchant, Fleet Manager of FreshLinc, ”Therefore savings on this scale can only help us to deliver and meet our customers expectations and ensure our position in the market place,” he added.

Graham Keddie, Chairman, GSPK Multifuel Technology said, “We have 600 of our systems fitted to trucks and those customers who have tried and tested the product, are now rolling it out through their fleets.” He added, “FreshLinc is a progressive company operating a substantial distribution fleet in an industry where fuel costs can be crippling.”
